Introduction
1. General
This section of the handbook contains fundamental information about brainX: an explanation of the CRM concept, a description of the two available product versions, the technical requirements for use, and an overview of the available packages.
2. brainX Versions
brainX is available in two versions: brainX CRM and brainX APP.
- brainX CRM
- User-based version (billing based on number of users and booked packages)
- In addition to the base package (Basis), additional packages (Sales, Marketing, Faktura, Service and Projekte) can be added. These add-on packages offer extended functions, features and modules.
- brainX APP
- SaaS version for subscription-based companies
- All modules and functions are always included, without package upgrades
- Subscription-based billing (not user-based)

The two CRM versions brainX CRM and brainX APP are technically largely identical.
If a function or module is only available in one of the two versions, this will be indicated at the relevant point in the handbook.
