1. General

QuickEdit allows individual field values to be edited directly in the list view or detail view without having to open the full edit view of the record.

2. Using QuickEdit

To activate QuickEdit, double-click on the value of a field in the list view. The field switches to edit mode.

After editing the value, the change can be saved by pressing Enter or clicking outside the field.

To discard the change, press Escape.

3. Supported Field Types

QuickEdit is supported for most field types, including:

Text fields
Number fields
Date fields
Selection list fields
Checkbox fields

4. QuickEdit in the Detail View

QuickEdit is also available in the detail view. Double-clicking on a field value activates edit mode directly in the detail view without opening the full edit view.
