Global Settings

1. General

The Global Settings in brainX are used to define fundamental configurations and settings for the entire system. This includes, for example, user permissions, default field values, language settings, currency settings and other system-wide parameters.

Note

To access the Global Settings area, users require administrative permission. The "admin" user, which is present in every brainX system by default, has the "CustomerAdmin" permission and can grant administrative permissions to other users via Rights Management if required.

2. Thematic Areas

The start page of the Global Settings displays all available settings areas as tiles. A search function is available at the top centre, which can be used to search specifically for settings items. On the right-hand side, the most recently made changes are displayed in descending chronological order — detailed information on this in the section Recent Changes.

The Global Settings are divided into the following thematic areas:
