1. General
snapADDY is a business card scanner app that digitizes contact data from business cards using AI. The brainX integration automatically transfers scanned contact data to the CRM.
2. Configuration
The configuration must first be carried out in the snapADDY account before the API key can be entered in brainX.
2.1. Configuration in snapADDY
- Log in to your snapADDY account
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations → brainX
- Copy the API Key displayed there
2.2. Configuration in brainX
In the snapADDY section of Company Information, the following settings are available:

2.3. Field Mapping

2.4. Target Module
The following modules are available as target modules for new records:

3. Usage
After configuration, scanned business cards from the snapADDY CardScanner app on the smartphone are automatically transferred to brainX. The transfer happens in real time — immediately after scanning, the record appears in the configured target module.
4. Examples
Example 1: Scanning a Business Card at a Trade Show
- Sales representative scans a business card with the snapADDY app on their smartphone
- snapADDY digitizes the data using AI
- The record is automatically created in brainX in the Leads module
- The sales representative can immediately follow up with the new lead
Example 2: Duplicate Check Before Creating a Record
- Business card is scanned
- snapADDY checks whether a contact with this email address already exists in brainX
- If a duplicate is found, the existing record can be updated instead of creating a new one
