1. Special Functionalities

When creating or editing an automation, there are special functionalities that are available in various places.

For the sake of clarity, these functionalities are described centrally at this point.

1.1. Configure Workspace - Set Value

The “Set value” popup for the “Configure workspace” functionality is available in the following areas:

“Condition” node → Step 4 - Choose comparison when inserting the “Condition” node
“Action” node → Update record → Step 1a - Configure workspace when inserting the “Action” node
“Action” node → Create record → Step 1a - Configure workspace when configuring fields after selecting an object type (module)
“Action” node → Add line item → Configuration of fields in the line item information and custom fields

1.1.1. Editor Actions

In the editor of the “Set value” popup, the same or similar action icons as in the editor of the automation itself are available:

Zoom in
By clicking the “Zoom in“ action icon (“Plus“ icon), the view is enlarged.
Fit zoom to size
By clicking the “Fit zoom to size“ action icon (“Circle“ icon), the zoom is adjusted to the size of the popup.
Zoom out
By clicking the “Zoom out“ action icon (“Minus“ icon), the view is reduced.
Operating instructions
After clicking the “Operating instructions” action icon (“Question mark” icon), a popup with brief operating instructions is displayed.

Multiple move

You can select several blocks and move them together by holding down the "Shift" key and clicking individual blocks or selecting an area.

Delete block

You can select a block by clicking it and delete it using the "Del" key, or drag the block into the Recycle Bin and release it.

Restore deleted blocks

If at least one block has been deleted, it is possible to open the Recycle Bin and restore the respective blocks.

Recycle Bin → Placeholders/elements that have already been inserted can be moved to the Recycle Bin using drag & drop.
After clicking the Recycle Bin, the deleted elements are displayed and can, if required, be moved back out of the Recycle Bin into the editor area using drag & drop.

Show/hide sidebar → The sidebar can be shown/hidden by clicking the “Arrow with vertical line” action icon.

In the displayed sidebar, placeholders for an input, for a field, for calculations and functions can be selected.

Note

The placeholders are predefined by the system and depend on the source field and/or node

A separate tab is available in the sidebar for each type of placeholder:

Input → Placeholder for a manual input (examples):
- Text
- Date
- Time
- Number
Field → Fields from a module
Calculations → Placeholder for configurable calculations:
- Calculate time (with field)
- Rounding
- Time difference (calculate time with field or number)
- Calculation
- Calculate time (with number)
Functions → Insert functions:
- Concatenate
- Day/month as text
- Day/month/year as number
- Insert line
- Current date

By clicking a placeholder, it is inserted into the editor area and can then be positioned in the editor using drag & drop.

Based on the field type of the selected field, the system only offers available placeholders.

Similar to a puzzle, the individual placeholders can be connected to one another or nested within each other.

1.1.3. Output format of date blocks

For blocks that provide a date (e.g. Date, Current date or Calculate time), the following can additionally be specified in the dialog for the output format of the block:

Allowed weekdays → The result is restricted to the selected weekdays.
Skip public holidays → Public holidays are skipped when determining the date. Public holidays are determined automatically based on the country and federal state of an address field to be selected.
