1. MailChimp Overview
MailChimp is one of the world's leading email marketing tools headquartered in the USA. In addition to paid plans, a free plan is available that includes a limited number of contacts and sends per month.

2. Add Account
After clicking the "Add Account" button, the "Add Email Marketing Account" popup opens. In the Provider dropdown, the value MailChimp must be selected. After selection, the API Key field is displayed. The API key is generated in the MailChimp account and can be copied there.
The following table describes required fields and fields with non-obvious functions. All other fields are self-explanatory.

| API Key * | API key of the MailChimp account; displayed after selecting the provider MailChimp.
Note: The API key is generated in MailChimp itself and can be copied there. |

Add Email Marketing Account popup
After clicking the "Save" button, brainX immediately attempts to establish a connection to MailChimp using the API key. If this fails, the following message is displayed: Error establishing the connection. Please check the data entered.
