1. General

Info

The term "tag" (plural: "tags") originates from English and means "keyword" or "label". Tags are used to categorise content and topics.

The primary function of tags is the categorisation and prioritisation of records, enabling quick and easy access.

A record can contain one or more tags.

2. Settings

Description of the settings:

Field	Description
Show tags?	Setting whether tags should be displayed in the detail view.
Tag cloud view	Static view → The individual tags are displayed side by side with the same font size. Dynamic view → The individual tags are displayed side by side, but the font size of the tags adjusts according to the frequency of use.
Display of most used tags	Mine → Only the user's own most used tags are displayed. All → All most used tags are displayed.
Default selection when adding tags	Pre-selection of whether a tag should be public or private when adding it.
Disable autocomplete?	When this setting is active, existing tags are offered for selection from a certain number of characters.
Autocomplete from character count	Setting from how many characters the autocomplete function activates.
Disable alphanumeric search?	Setting whether the alphanumeric search is active/inactive.
Alphanumeric search from character count	Setting from how many characters the alphanumeric search activates.
Search logic of alphanumeric search	Hard search → The capitalisation of the word has no influence on the results of the alphanumeric search. Each individual letter is searched for in the tags. The position of the letters within the tag does not matter. However, this also means that all these letters must appear in a single tag. Soft search → The capitalisation of the word has no influence on the results of the tag search. The searched word must appear as a substring within the tag. It does not matter at which position the substring appears within the tag.
